Health and safety
Read this before you train off anything Arc gives you.

Arc is not medical advice
Arc is a training app. It is not a doctor, a physiotherapist or a medical device, and nothing in it is a diagnosis, a treatment or a prescription. The training in your plan is general fitness programming built from published coaching methodology, not individual medical care.
If you have an injury, a pain that is not settling, or any medical condition, see a qualified professional. Do that before you start, not after something gets worse.
Get cleared before you start
Endurance and strength training carry real risk, including injury and, rarely, serious cardiac events. Talk to your doctor before beginning any new training programme, especially if you are new to training, returning from injury or illness, pregnant, over 40, or have any history of heart, lung, joint or metabolic problems.
About the injury and pain questions
Arc asks for your injury history, your current niggles and a pain score because that information shapes the sessions you get. Answering those questions does not mean Arc has assessed you, and the prehab work it schedules is general loading guidance, not rehabilitation supervised by anyone.
Where a session mentions a pain threshold, treat it as a general guideline for that kind of work, not a target and not permission. Any pain that is sharp, getting worse session to session, or still there the next morning means stop and get it looked at.
You decide what you do
Every session in Arc is a suggestion. You are the one who decides whether to do it, and you are responsible for training safely: warming up, using loads you can control, stopping when something is wrong, and adjusting for how you actually feel on the day rather than what the plan says.
Stop training and seek medical help immediately for chest pain, dizziness, fainting, severe shortness of breath, or a sudden severe pain anywhere.
Arc is in beta
Arc is unfinished software being tested with a small group. Training blocks are currently written and reviewed by hand, and both the app and the programming may change, break or be wrong. Apply your own judgement to everything it gives you.
