What you are agreeing to

By creating an account and using Arc you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old.

What Arc is

Arc builds one training plan across cardio, strength and mobility, weighted to a goal you set, and asks you to check in with a live photo for each session. Training blocks are currently written and reviewed by hand rather than generated automatically.

Arc is fitness programming, not medical advice. The health and safety notice is part of these terms and you should read it.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and do not let anyone else use your account. Tell us if you think someone has got into it. What happens under your login is your responsibility.

Give honest answers to the training questions. The plan is built from them, and wrong answers produce a plan that does not suit you and may not be safe.

Beta access and what it costs

Arc is in beta. During the beta period, invited testers have full access at no charge. There is no card on file and nothing is billed.

When the beta period ends, continued access costs $9.99 a month, billed monthly, or $90 a year, billed yearly, and you will be told before that happens. Nobody is charged without choosing to subscribe.

A subscription renews at the end of each month or year, whichever you chose, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Account screen and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not refund the current one.

Refunds

If something has gone wrong, email keelan@shuhari-group.com and it will be sorted out. If you subscribed through the App Store, refunds are handled by Apple under their own policy rather than by Arc.

The check-in photo

The photo has one job: to show the session happened. Do not upload anything else, anything that is not yours, or anything unlawful. Photos are deleted automatically within 24 hours.

What you may not do

Do not try to break into the app or anyone else's account, do not scrape or resell the training content, and do not use Arc to harm anyone.

Your training content

What you enter stays yours. You give Arc permission to use it for the one purpose of running the app and building your plan, which is described in the privacy policy.

The training methodology, the programme structure and the app itself remain the property of Arc and are for your personal use.

Beta software, and the limits of what is promised

Arc is provided as it is. It is unfinished, it may contain errors, and it may be unavailable, lose data or change without notice. No promise is made that it is fit for any particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, Arc is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from following a training plan. You train at your own risk, and the health and safety notice explains what that means in practice. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot legally be removed.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from the Account screen. Arc may close an account that breaks these terms. If the beta ends or the app is discontinued you will be given notice and a way to get your data out.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially you will be told inside the app. Carrying on using Arc after that means you accept the new version.
